Innovation Academy (IA)

     Innovation Academy is an innovation program with Basehor-Linwood High School. It promotes the use of the design thinking process through individual projects. It also provides the opportunity to connect a content class to the project, (if more than one block of IA is taken that semester). I enrolled in this program during my freshman year. That year, I took 2 blocks of IA and did 2 content courses, (Graphic Design Fundamentals & Business Essentials). During my sophomore year, I took one block of IA each semester. Through this program, I was able to explore my interests and develop real world experience and skills.
