How can I help an entrepreneur build a foundation for their future business while learning about business essentials and graphic design?
EMPATHY
Design Thinking

In order to start my project, I had to look deep within myself to see what I am interested in. I knew that my project had to relate to business and graphic design in some way, and I wanted it to relate to my interest in healthcare. By using my interests as my driving point, I was given the opportunity to empathize with an aspiring entrepreneur. After meeting with her, and conducting my own research, I figured out what my project would be.

IDEATE

During ideation, I had to brainstorm ways to help Emily start developing her business model canvas. In order to receive more ideas, I conducted research. I had interviews with people, and even started brainstorming ideas for a possible brand name.

Throughout the process of helping an aspiring entrepreneur, I have grown a lot. It was an amazing experience which allowed me to work with something that interested me. Not only did I get to work with graphic design and the business world, but I also got to learn a bit more about healthcare. My final products were the logo I created for Restore Harmony as well as the business canvas model Emily and I developed.
